
Stephen Gabriel
President
Stephen Gabriel is founding partner and President of Work Light Productions. He really likes what he does. In addition to producing a lot of fantastic shows, Steve likes to help foster new work and new ideas. Highlights include all the spectacular moments hanging out at the theater with actors, creative and tech folks, pretending to be a video editor, and occasionally tweaking guitar sounds in the pit. He is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, and a former booking agent with The Booking Group and Columbia Artists Management. Steve served on the board of International Performing Arts for Youth, and is currently trying to start a youth ensemble in his family room, if his 3 kids would only cooperate.

Nancy Gabriel
Vice President & Producer
After receiving her Bachelor of Music degree from the Hartt School/University of Hartford, Nancy entered the music management business at IMG Artists, where she worked as a booking agent, artist manager and finally Senior VP & Director of the Dance Division. She concurrently earned her Master of Public Administration degree from New York University. After nearly two decades in artist management, she moved into the world of commercial theater when in 2007 she joined her husband and business partner, Steve Gabriel, as Vice President & Producer at Work Light Productions. Nancy has co-produced all of WLP’s tours and manages the company’s finances, administration & HR. She looks forward to continuing this amazing journey and is grateful to the many talented collaborators with whom she has worked to bring WLP’s productions to life each year. Rhys Williams
Director of Production
Rhys has technically supervised every show that Work Light has ever produced – from the very first Broadway Junior show, to Avenue Q and American Idiot, through today and the exciting roster of shows the company is producing this year. Rhys is based in Charleston, SC where he has worked at Spoleto Festival USA for over 30 years and is currently the Festival’s Director of Production. In the early years of Work Light (and before), Rhys did some cool things like being the Assistant Production Manager on the original Broadway productions of Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera, working for over 20 years with Lee Breuer on shows including Peter and Wendy and Mabou Mines Dollhouse, and through his company, Technical Theater Solutions, installing shows on all of the Disney Cruise Line ships. Rhys is a proud member of IATSE local #645. In his personal life he is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, loves cooking dinner for his family, and when time allows plays basketball with other old men and works on trying to earn his 2nd degree black belt in Karate.

Anièle joined Work Light Productions in 2012 after beginning her career in commercial theatre in Toronto at Dancap Productions where she worked on the Canadian productions of Jersey Boys, The Toxic Avenger, and Miss Saigon among many others. At WLP she has had the pleasure to serve as part of the General Management team on American Idiot, Nice Work If You Can Get It, MAMMA MIA!, and Vocalosity. A graduate of McGill University, she is a certified yoga instructor, lover of rustic Italian cooking, and proud mama to a sassy shih-tzu.

Scott Seay
General Manager
Scott started his career in theatre as a professional actor/
singer/dancer, performing all over the United States and the world, from Anchorage to Austria, St. Louis to Siberia. He tour jeté-ed to the other side of the table in 2005, serving as Manager of Education and Outreach for American Musical Theatre of San Jose, where he was solely in charge of 13 dynamic programs for kids, students, and adults. He is a graduate of James Madison University (earning a B.S. in Psychology) and the Commercial Theatre Institute’s

Kevin Greene
Assistant GM/Office Manager
Kevin graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre and began his career in theatre as a performer on Broadway and National Tours. His most notable credits include A Tale of Two Cities, Mamma Mia! and Grease: You’re the One that I Want. Following several years as an actor, Kevin shifted gears and became Account Executive at the ABC and FOX afilliate in his hometown, Rochester, NY. It was during that time that he was hired as the Program Director at RAPA, a non-profit theatre where he also served on the Board. Looking for the next step, he returned to NYC where he assisted Tim Marshall and Danielle Quinoa at Stewart Talent. Kevin joined the Work Light team in the fall of 2015.

Carolyn CS Renner
Contracts Manager/Special Projects
Carolyn joined the Work Light Productions team in 2013 after emerging from 4 fantastic years of being a stay at home mom, raising her young son EJ and keeping husband Jon honest. Professionally, for nearly a decade she was the sole General Manager/Associate Producer for Big League Theatricals in NYC, overseeing touring productions (Peter Pan, Footloose, Titanic, The Music Man, Blast!, Blast II “Shockwave”, Miss Saigon, 42nd Street, The Who’s Tommy and Elton John & Tim Rice’s Aida) throughout North America, South America, Europe and Japan. Previously she was the Managing Director for The SITI Company, a Booking Agent for The Booking Group (under the direction of Stephen Gabriel), an Associate in International Touring at ICM Artists, and a player in the NYC downtown theatre scene. Carolyn is a Musical Theatre graduate of the Boston Conservatory with concentrations in vocal jazz and opera.

Mike East
Production Manager
Mike began working professionally for Rhys Williams’ company, Technical Theater Solutions, in 2009. Since then, Mike has served as Head Carpenter, Associate Production Supervisor, or Production Supervisor for every Work Light Productions show since 2009’s Avenue Q Tour. In addition to Work Light projects, Mike has served as VP of TTS since 2012 and has managed several projects including work for Disney Cruise Lines, Spoleto Festival USA, and Bespoke Theatricals. Mike is proud to be part of the Work Light Family and looks forward to what the future brings. Mike holds a BA from Clemson University in Production Studies for the Performing Arts.
Mackenzie Foster
Production Administrator
Mackenzie attended the College of Charleston where she graduated with a B.A. in Arts Management and a minor in Theatre. Seeking an adventure, she moved to Chicago where she worked at Broadway In Chicago (BIC) in the production department and assisted with all tours and shows in the Oriental Theatre, Palace Theatre, Bank of America Theatre, and the Broadway Playhouse. In 2013 Mackenzie returned to warm, sunny Charleston, SC to begin working with Rhys Williams’ company Technical Theatre Solutions and worked on shows such as American Idiot, MAMMA MIA!, and Nice Work if You Can Get It. After taking a brief hiatus from the theatre world to act as Production Manager for a local A/V company, Mackenzie is glad to be back and joined the Work Light Productions team in spring of 2016.

Daniel Wade Jolly
Assistant Production Manager
Wade graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Technical Direction in 2010. He spent the next six years touring with Broadway productions such as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Blue Man Group, and his most recent engagement Cameron Mackintosh’s The Phantom Of The Opera. Wade is a proud member of IATSE, and is extremely excited be a part of the Work Light Productions team.

Rossella Human
Wardrobe Manager
Rossella is excited to be a part of the Work Light Production family. She previously toured with their production of Mamma Mia! from 2013-2015 as Head Wardrobe. She obtained her B.F.A. in Costume Design from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Past experiences include, the International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, milliner for the Lyric’s Showboat and wig runner at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, for both Carmen and Macbeth. She has headed wardrobe for shows at Northwestern University, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Thanks to my wonderful husband for his love and support.

Suzanne Prueter
Production Associate
In addition to supporting projects for Work Light Productions, Suzanne also serves as the Production Office Manager for Spoleto Festival USA and General Manager for Port City Equipment Rental which provides touring theatrical equipment. On behalf of Spoleto, Suzanne managed the renovation and first four years of operation of historic Memminger Auditorium in Charleston, South Carolina. A member of ATPAM, she has been a Company Manager for Broadway and touring companies of Les Miserables, Fosse, and Disney’s Aida and Beauty and the Beast. She has logged over 300 weeks on the road, humiliating bus drivers worldwide with her ability to stuff more luggage under a bus than they can.

Courtney King
General Management Assistant
Born and raised in Rockville, MD., Courtney fell in love with theatre at a very young age. Her passion continued to grow throughout college where she earned her BA from Rutgers University in both Theatre and English, with a minor in Education as a Social Science. During her time at RU, she was the Artistic Director of Cabaret Theatre and the Special Events Coordinator. Some of her favorite directing credits include; Avenue Q, [title of show], Honour and August: Osage County to name a few. After college, Courtney worked at American Repertory Ballet as the organization’s Development Associate. She is thrilled to join the Work Light team as the General Management Assistant.

Emily Miller
General Management Assistant
Emily graduated Drew University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and History and a minor in European Studies. She worked at the Pearl Theatre Company as an Assistant to the Dramaturg and Assistant Box Office Manager, and at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey as Assistant Box Office Manager and House Manager. She has also taught Dramaturgy at a Performing Arts High School.
